I’ve started to design and build a large collection of unique birdhouses with the goal of transforming part of our backyard into a bustling bird sanctuary. Also, this birdhouse village will be full of different house styles, sizes and colors –hopefully a cool thing to look at. I’m delving into the world of avian architecture, exploring different birdhouse designs, and discovering the huge variety of birds here in North Carolina.

As I build birdhouses and install in the village I will update this post. Stay tuned!
